Hi all those L2B'ers. Just to let you kow the line up for meeting/setting off on the saturday morning. tony is coming to bredbury mcdonalds car park for 5am setting of straight away. Meeting john and liz at sandbach services approx 5.40, so anyone else want to meet up to travel down together, those are the two options.

Well just got back from Bob's after giving him a lift fitting a new exhaust on his van.
Enjoyed the weekend - proves too it's always sunny in Brighton!! Also we now know how much fun Tony is when he has whiskey lol.
Was a little disappointed by L2B this year though. Then again I suppose I should be as last year was the 25th L2B, previous year was 50 years of Mini and the world record convoy. Back to regular service thinking back to '07 and '08.
Mainly I really enjoyed it this year because we got a big chunk of the club down there and we had a laugh. Was nice to have people asking about the club and taking flyers etc.
Big thanks to Ivor, Dan and Bob for towing me back to the hotel and especially Paul for all his help and sorting the car. Cheers mate. Plus the rest of you for helping and seeing if my car was ok.
Roll on next year - there is only one L2B!!!!!!
Next stop M&C! Get in Mini Super Week!!

really looking forward to M&C. To be honest, didn't rate L2B that much. was only really like any other mini show we go to, but on a massive scale! nothing special apart from the number of minis. which was amazing, but like i say, nothing special for me. but was a good show, very organised, just a long way and no sleep! lol.
Roll on friday for the continuation of mini super week! :-)

L2B seems a lot quieter than previous years - even the years before mini 50 etc - mind you, some of us old coffin dodgers have been going to it for 12 years now !!! I wonder if the spiralling costs of petrol put some people off events like this?

Really must get two minis on the road at some stage so we don't have to go in jap taxi - although we did make it from here to Portsmouth in just over 3 hours, and frmo Brighton back to home in about 4 hours with two loo stops for the kids

I think so.
My already slim bank account has taken a battering from Mini Super Week. God knows how much it has cost me in fuel alone.
