A camping weekend at the airfield of shakespeare county raceway. lots of minis racing the quarter mile as well as hot rods, dragsters and run what you brung.
Always a fun filled weekend with scortching weather!

We'll be there Saturday morning - might even bring the kids for an overnight stay - will probably have to camp somewhere quieter if we do though!

i dont reckon manchester minis will ever have "quiet camping" but id rather be away from idiots like last years idiots so i can actually get a few hours sleep!! we can still have our usual fun!

ooh now then, if these dates are infact correct, I might be able to attend this one, with the mini and perhaps put on a show for you lot on why you should not use 200hp with a standard gearbox  |

Will just be me there from our household - Byrney's on a girlie weekend away, and I'm not brave/stupid enough to even consider taking all 3 kids camping on my own, so they're off to the inlaws after school & swimming on Friday - a quick trip to Liverpool then hopefully I'll get to Avon for about 9pm

i said we should go the friday night, stay saturday day, then leave sat night.

john, the best non static mini event by far is the M&C. Its EPIC! ha ha.
this is a good one too but i think a lot of us have been saying we are trying new shows, so maybe thats the lack of interest to our usual events recently.
Who knows. ;-)
will try and make this one if i can.

Meh I have never rated Avon tbh.
If it rains, no racing! Besides, we just sit in a field with not alot going on, not many Minis, not many stalls etc.
Probs go just to have a crack with you lot and show some support for the club, funds permitting. So probably not then lol.
