I was led to believe that the track opens at 8, scrutineering at 9 and racing at 10.
So, yeh, if your not racing, getting there for 10 is about right.

well its up to everyone what they want to do, need some feedback, otherwise we leave at 9am
A) leave at 8am to get there for 10ish when it opens to public B) leave at 9am and get there for 11 ish (after the first bit of racing starts)

Makes more sense for us to leave at 8 so that we don't miss any racing, and that we have better parking spaces.

Yes we will be in the purple fiesta (unless a miracle happens on Fri/Sat!!) I think I've done more miles in it in the past year than she has!!!!!!! And as Sun is our first lie in for ever as both kids are at my Mums I'm definately up for a 9am start!!! Byrney

Was a bit of a shambles Monster trucks were pants Carl Austins Twini was ace However, i bettered last years Avon times ;D 16.536 seconds at 82.91mph terminal speed. 0-60 8.84 seconds. I feel those times are still a little pants but thats down to my technique, wich itself, is pants ;D Thats not all from that engine by a long way. Its going in the corner of the garage till i find a use for it again ;D On and in with the new

Was a good day out today... all be it loosing the prices, Rob had a problem with his mini which involved getting towed home, chris went back with him.
Im a bit burnt..... doh! Done it again.
Thanks again for the lift, Chris and then Byrney and Rich there and Murray on the way back.
Ill sort out the pics tomorrow.
Just found out (cheers Sprox) that the grasstrack clubby had a straight 4 scooby engine with a merc charger.

I wondered what was in the grass track thingy !! Cool ! I thought the monster trucks were ok - and the organisation was actually better than it was the last time I was there (year before last) - that year I think the minis only got about 2 qualifying runs , the rest of the day was corsas and saxos !
