erm, there are 14 peeps going including you, ellie, me and paul, chris, rob, jackman, andy p, ed, oshan, matt, Rob k, anthony and bob.
We are meeting at the cheshire line on Friday 4th at 11.30 for lunch, then setting off bout 12.30-1pm, when everyone is ready. Friday night can be takeaway as thats easy enough. Saturday day we will be out most of the day so we will eat out, but for breakfast bring what you want, cereal, bacon, eggs, Paracetamol, Whatever. Sunday day again will be spent mostly out, so just bring provisions for brekkie and any snacks you want. Monday (if people are staying the extra night til monday) we can go for pub lunch somewhere along the way home.
I have a plan of action for saturday and sunday that i hope everyone will like. Saturday is going to a victorian extravaganza - its a transport event with street performers n stalls etc, then off to one of the railways to go up a mountain - ill let you all choose that one, im sure Ed knows of any good ones not too far away. Sunday will be Go-Karting (arrive and drive) and anything else anyone fancies seeing that day.
Dont forget your towels as they dont provide towels at the house.

The transport event is really good too, its near the wild bird sanctuary - thats good too, owls are well tame - there is loads of stuff like Routemaster buses, trucks and classic cars. My dad was a bit reminiscent of seeing a Guy Big J in the trucks with a legendary Gardner diesel. Before HGV licences he used to sell them new. I know a massive go kart track thats outdoor, apparently its longer now, with quick karts. Its south of Betws-y-Coed, so I'd imagine its about a 45min drive from Angelsey cross country, but well worth it.

The bird sanctuary is literally behind the field where the transport show is. TBH they'll probably be out in the Extravaganza though.
Colwyn Bay Zoo - its up in Colwyn Heights, about 5 min from my parent's house. Its massive, more of a day thing. Good though.
What about the toboggan run on The Orme's dry ski slope? Thats pretty funky. Might be a bit busy though.
Bob - the go kart track is EASILY big enough for Minis. Twin engined karts there too.

Here is a pic of the kart track - I've not been on the extended bit, must have been 3 years since I went and it was massive then. Its 1.6 kilometers now. Its also quite hilly.

Ed - Where is this go kart track exactly? and do they let people arrive and drive? Also, we will incorporate the toboggan run in somewhere, definately.
