Hi, I'm new to the world of minis, I became the proud owner of a R50 on Saturday and she is just lovely! I've already developed OCD over cleaning her! But please can anyone help? The hand brake handle is quite badly scratched and loose and I am struggling to find a alternative that fits my model that doesn't a, cost a fortune or b, look like I have purchased it in Ann summers!!! Can anyone point me in the direction of where to find a nice replacement that will actually fit or know where I could just get a replacement standard handle (I only actually need the very end bit near the button!) I don't really want the JCW ones either just to be awkward! I did find a nice one on eBay that I was assured fitted my model to find today it doesn't!! I have also tried a number of breakers today to see if they have one, but non of them had any available! I have the chrome pack too so one that matches the interior would be good! I don't know if I am looking in the wrong places but I have been trawling the Internet since Saturday and I'm starting to get disheartened! Any help would be much appreciated! Thank Nat

hmm ive had a quick look and their doesnt seem to be much out there! I thought that DSN made an alloy handbrake but i cant even find a standard new one for sale anywhere. You could try and repair the one you have if the scratches arnt too deep. Post up some pics. Im not sure what you mean by a R50 model?

R50 Matt is the same as mine Bini 2001-2006
Bmw and Euro parts are the usal suspects, however mini sport have John copper work handbrake grips for £75 ish.
Another good place to try is Harrods motor Components in Marple. tel 0161 427 8330

Im not sure what you mean by a R50 model? With your background I thought you'd have known that lol. R50=MINI. Last Rover product code for a new car too.
