Yorkshire Mini Splash Dash 2010 - Club Invite

A Classic and BMW event in association with Cumbria Mini Cruisers. In aid of Christies, towards a future without cancer

Date: 30th – 3rd May 2010
Location: High Rigg Farm, Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire
Ticket Fee: £15 - Driver, Navigator and Mini
(Passengers are free of charge, but will need to pay additional camping fees)

Every mini that takes part in the Mini Splash Dash run will receive a Plaque

Camping Fees for High Rigg Farm Campsite:

Tents Prices:
£7 a night – Per person, per night

Motor Holmes / Caravans: 6 pitches available
£14 a night Electric hook up is available.

Camping Pods: With electric and small heater, 4 Family Camping Pods and 2 Small

Small Camping Pod (2-3 people)
£25 per night 3 nights stay only

Family Camping Pod (4-6 people)
£35 per night 3 nights stay only

Yorkshire Mini Splash Dash – Information

A classic and Modern mini event that guarantees to test out your splashguard and get you soaked!!

Cumbria Mini Cruisers would like to invite you and your club to join us for the Yorkshire Mini Splash Dash 2010 in the beautiful location known as the North Yorkshire National Park. Set in a breathtaking panoramic location of Dalby Forest, with outstanding views over the hills and sunsets that will take your breath away, we guarantee that this years Yorkshire Mini Splash Dash will be a splashing event not to be missed.

Situated in one of the quietest forests in North Yorkshire, High Rigg Farm Campsite is fully equipped with Hot and Cold water 24 hours a day; it hosts its own washing and drying room, toilets for both men and women and 3 showers that can be used 24 hours a day. High Rigg farm has 6 pitches for Motor homes and Caravans, these all come with electric hook-up, water taps around located around the edge of the camping field. High Rigg Farm can also offer you a relaxing weekends stay in one of there NEW Camping pods, fully equipped with electric, all you need to remember is your airbed, sleeping bag and cooking equipment. It cuts out the hassle of packing away a wet tent after a great weekend away.

This years Yorkshire Mini Splash Dash will be raising money for the Christies Cancer Research charity. A raffle will be held on the Saturday Evening, with prizes donated from local mini Companies. One FREE raffle ticket will be given to every mini owner who registers to take part in the Yorkshire Mini Splash Dash; further tickets can be purchased on arrival at the registration tent.

We have carefully put together a selection of activities that everyone can enjoy over the weekend: From, a Hire Wire adventure cause at Go Ape, to a classic Treasure hunt, mini splash dash quiz, Games for all ages, a day out at one of Yorkshires best Theme Parks and not to mention The Yorkshire Mini Splash Dash run with plenty of unforgettable water splashes dotted along the way guaranteed to test out your splash guard.

The ‘Mini Splash Dash ' route is not a race, we do ask everyone who kindly attends this event to take into consideration on-coming traffic, wildlife, narrow roads and tracks and to be aware that pheasants may have a mind of there own!! There will be a selection of fine pubs along the route which you can stop at to have a bite to eat. There will be no time limit on this run, so people can stop to take photographs of minis going through fords or of the views that North Yorkshire has to offer.

It would be great to have a selection of you from Manchester Minis join us for this event. You do have three options to choose from, either a staying in a camping pod, or a tent or even bring your caravan or motorhome.

Just to update: there is only 3 caravan pitches left, and 1 family camping pod and 1 small camping pod. I do advise if you would like to attend and like to stay in either of these you send your application form off as soon as you can.

The event is for a great cause.
