need help with some thrush baring promlems

Hey guys, I'm all a bit new to this. So I hope I've done this right!

I have a 1990 austion mini mayfair auto and it's making a whining noise, I went to a garage to get it checked out and they said it could be the 'thrush barings'. Is it an expensive job? And does anyone know any good places, people or yourselves who could help out?

I'm only 17 and starting my first project, slowly but surley it's coming along.
