If you bought them through the garage you should be able to take the parts back for a refund. If they wont take them back vote with your feet and go to a different garage in future.

Got parts from a mini breakers, you can't get a new slave cylinder and flexi pipe for £15!!!! The garage didn't notice there was a bolt missing off the slave mounting plate, that was causing my problem of gear selection, £1.75 from Moss for the bolt and its fixed, garage wanted £50 for parts plus labour to fit.

keep hold of them, you never know when you might need them, especially owning a mini. Try using Minichanics for any future mini quarms, i specialise in classic minis and based in stockport
