Unfortunately I have to sell my mini as I am leaving the country, I do not want it to sit and rot away and would love to sell it to someone who has the intention of finishing it off. The car has another 6 months MOT (29th march 2013) and 4 months tax.
I have owned this car since late last year, I bought it from a chap who had it off the road as a project which he hadnt the time to finish off. I bought the car, fixed a few odds and ends to get it through the MOT and have been using it as a daily driver since then.
The car has a reconditioned 1275cc engine put in by the previous owner which I have recently had set up and it runs nice and smoothly through all the gears. He also fitted it with an alarm and an electic rad fan. It has nice 13 by 7 superlights which are in good condition with yokohama rubber and has had a recent exhaust change (rc40). It has had lots of new bits and pieces since I have owned the car including CV joints, trackrod ends, airfilter, headlights, rear brake overhaul amongst other usual bits and pieces.
Being completely honest however does need some tlc to get her up to the condition she deserves, so here is a list of all the things you can expect to fix
there are some spots of rust in usual mini places, the paintwork isnt the best, the speedo isn't working, the handbrake needs adjusting (the whole set up is spanking new so i will hopefully get round to this when i get the time), the brake lights stopped working yesterday (again i will try and fix this before i sell it) and the drivers side door seal is leaking.
The car will come with a set of 6 by 9 speakers mounted in a speaker board that can be fitted under the rear seats of the car.
All in all this car is an honest little motor that would make a cracking rolling project which should easily go through another MOT. Viewings are more than welcome, please dont hesitate to get in contact though here and I will glady give you a call and tell you more about the car.
